WHY AN ALPINE ADVENTURE?

Matt and I were married in May 2018. But what comes after the wedding? The honeymoon of course! But then comes the question of where to go...

We had saved up all of our vacation days for a big trip. I wanted to make a trip to Europe, Matt - being the natural Coloradan - wanted an outdoor adventure. We were confused on what exactly to do! My family had always lived by the Rick Steves guidebooks, so we hopped on to the Rick Steves website to see what suggestions he had. Low and behold - we discovered he had tours! But did we really want to spend everyday of our honeymoon on a guided tour...?

And then it appeared - the My Way Alpine tour. Europe? Check. Outdoor adventure? Check. The freedom to make each day our own? Check. And then there was the kicker - we had all the hotels and transportation coordinated for us. After spending 14 months planning a wedding, we were ready to have somebody else do the work for us.

We immediately signed up for a tour that summer and started planning with the help of Rick Steves. A few weeks later a special guidebook made specifically for our trip arrived at our door.
